Built by the Bañuelos family to create high-quality tequila with nothing added but three generations of expertise. Each expression and every bottle honors the family legacy and Mexican culture.
Our Tequilas
BLANCO
Our Blanco features aromas of cooked agave, citrus, yellow lemon with a slight peppery note. Cooked agave on the palate accompanied by sweet citrus fruits and an herbal, balanced finish. The long finish invites you to continue tasting the flavors. Best enjoyed in palomas, tequila sodas or neat.
40% ABV
BLANCO 90
Blanco 90 is made for Bartenders. Our higher proof, Blanco 90 features aromas of coked agave, baking spices, mint and brine. On the palate, cooked agave, minerality and black pepper. This expression is crafted to elevate classic tequila cocktails or pairs well with rich chocolates.
45% ABV
REPOSADO
Our Reposado is aged for 90 days in 80% American Oak and 20% French Oak. Aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, maple, apricot and baking spices. Cooked agave, wood, vanilla with a long and creamy finish. Enjoy Reposado neat or in your favorite Negroni or Espresso Martini.

Discover Our Life’s Work
We are the Bañuelos family. Our legacy in tequila began in 1973 when our first small distillery created a tequila that won awards and the world’s attention. After it was sold, we built a new distillery and our family home in Aranadas – in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Today, Hacienda El Mexicano is where we craft a new tequila – on our terms and according to our highest standards. Three generations of experience, passion, and commitment are behind El Mexicano.
